When weather and other system failure tragedies hit, thousands of homes and businesses lose critical water and wastewater services. Emergency backup systems to keep services operating post-disaster become more important than ever. Traditional lift station design has, for decades, included backup diesel generators to power submersible electric sewage pumps. Now, there's a better solution.
Improve your municipal lift station backup plan with Pioneer Pump® Diesel-Driven Skid Packages. Less expensive with lower operating and maintenance costs, diesel-driven skid packages offer double protection in cases of both electrical failure and submersible pump failure. These packages also have added capacity to address costly, environment and health-damaging risks due to sewer overflows.
